Table tennis

Unfortunately, nowadays table tennis is not so attractive for children and is not very popular among them. While this sport develops the child’s speed, flexibility, agility and even endurance. The ball used in the game is the smallest of all existing in other sports games. And the high speed of its flight requires from the young athlete concentration and quick reaction. Therefore, if you are thinking about which sports section to send your child, you should not forget about table tennis.

Today, parents have the opportunity to choose the table tennis school for children, which, in their opinion, is most suitable for their child. Since the technique of the game is the same for everyone, schools may differ only in teaching methods, as well as the form of training. After all, they can include not only the game of table tennis: children are selected for outdoor games (football, basketball, handball, etc.), which often end the training. Of course, teaching children the technique of playing table tennis can take place at home, but this is only if you want this sport to be just a kind of hobby for the child.

For children, table tennis is a kind of brain training. The child must feel what will be the speed of the ball after the blow (response to the blow), as well as the location of the opponent. In addition, he needs to calculate not only the force of the blow, but also the direction of the ball’s flight.

In the table tennis section, children are taught to make the right decisions, analyze them, and change them depending on the situation. After all, the result of the game is directly related to these skills. The child must be reasonable, so during training attention is paid to the development of mental stability.

Training in tennis school for children contribute to the development of both motor and visual memory. They allow you to create technical, and most importantly tactical combinations that will eventually lead the young tennis player to victory. Of course, such skills come with time, when for children tennis lessons become not just learning, but honing the acquired skills and abilities.

Tennis competitions for children are accompanied by noise and shouts of fans. But still, this is not the level of their conduct that is observed during professional tournaments. Therefore, the child should prepare for such “accompaniment” of the game in advance. To do this, table tennis classes for children can be held in different conditions. And over time, the child will learn not to react to shouts or, for example, to clapping.

Someone is very excited to wait for the game to start. You need to learn to deal with this. A surge of emotions in a child should quickly change to “combat readiness”. Therefore, the task of the coach is to be able to calm the young athlete by finding the right words and prepare him for the game.
